Welcome to another Beginners Guide. This time it's Singles 2: Triple Trouble from our good friends at Deep Silver and Rotobee. If you don't know what the game is all about, think "Sims with sex" and you won't be too far off the mark. I believe that the German title is perhaps the more accurate one: Singles 2: Wilde Zeiten (Wild Times).

The object of the game is, well... whatever you want it to be, I guess. You're in control of three Singles who share an apartment and it's your job to keep them happy and getting along well together while you decide what you want to do with them. Their relationship can be anything from peaceful coexistance to a hot-and-steamy three-way love triangle. It's really up to you.

For readers of my other Beginners Guides, be warned. The game definitely does not bear the stamp of approval of Forces For Good In The Community. In fact it would probably be rated anywhere between "just plain lewd" and "morally reprehensible", depending upon the rater's view of sexual themes and content. For the record, the game reviewers have given it a resounding "ehhh" (typically about a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10). So you're on the honor system here. If you're under 18, go no further. You're old enough to virtually hack/slash/maim/destroy, but not old enough to read about sexual relations between animated characters or see virtual boobies.

I thought seriously about rating this portion of the site with ICRA just to cover myself, but couldn't figure out how to do it without having to go back and add the appropriate tags to every single page in the other sections. I haven't done an exact count recently, but there are probably somewhere near 1000 pages scattered out among the various Beginners Guides. That's a lot of retagging to have to do just for a single guide, and a short one at that.
