Rogue
"Rogues are adventurers and opportunists with a gift for getting into and out
of trouble. Relying variously on charm and dash, blades and business sense, they
thrive on conflict and misfortune, trusting to their luck and cunning to
survive." (Morrowind player's manual)
With the exception of magical abilities, the Rogue is best equipped to talk
or fight his way out of just about anything. I find it amusing that this is a
Combat-oriented class when fully half of the Rogue's skills are
Stealth-oriented. However, note that there are no true Thieving skills
associated with this class (Sneak, Security, etc.), so perhaps classifying the
Rogue as Combat is accurate.
